Ms. Christi Michaud

 
Ms. Christi Michaud, Superintendent of Schools in the Milford School District, has worked collaboratively with students, parents, teachers, and both school and district administrators for over 20 years. She completed her undergraduate education at Notre Dame College in Manchester, NH, and earned her Masters and CAGS from Plymouth State and New England College. Ms. Michaud began her teaching career in 1998 as an elementary educator in Manchester, NH. She transitioned to school administration in Windham, NH, first as Assistant Principal in 2009, then as Principal in Windham and Manchester. She later assumed district-level roles, including Executive Director of Data, Assessment, and Accountability in the Timberlane School District and Assistant Superintendent in Milford, NH. Ms. Michaud's areas of expertise include curriculum and instruction, competency-based education, Multi-tiered Systems of Support for Academics and Behavior, alternatives to suspension, facilities projects, contract negotiations, budget development, as well as legal and personnel matters. She believes that all children are capable of high-level learning, though not necessarily at the same time or in the same manner. One of her favorite quotes is by Walt Disney: “Progress is impossible without change.”
