Membership:

Superintendent or Designee, Business Administrator, and at least one (1), but no more
than two (2), School Board member(s), up to two (2) Budget Advisory Committee
members, and one (1) town CIP member will be appointed by their respective
Boards/Committees. Up to three (3) community representatives and a student
representative will be selected by the above-mentioned members, by way of an
application process. Relevant school personnel will be invited to attend as determined
by the Committee.

Purpose:

The purpose of the CIP is to solicit capital improvement project requests from various
stakeholders throughout the School District, to evaluate the capital needs (ie:
infrastructure, facilities, grounds), to develop a multi-year plan to fund projects, and to
ensure that the District’s resources are allocated efficiently over time. Annually, the
committee will provide recommendations to the School Board, prioritizing projects and
advising on funding options to help guide decision making.

Schedule:

Standing Sub-Committee - The Sub-Committee shall meet a minimum of
once per quarter throughout the year or more often as determined necessary
by consensus of the committee.

Reporting:
  • The committee will provide regular updates to the School Board on the status of
    capital improvement projects.
  • An annual report will be presented to the School Board, summarizing the
    committee's activities, project outcomes, and financial status.
  • Committee agendas and meeting notes shall be posted in accordance with RSA
    91-A to the District website.
 
Authority:

The Sub-Committee can make no commitments on behalf of the Board unless
specifically directed otherwise by the Board.
